Tauplene Industries Sdn Bhd was established in 1997 and has since grown into a recognised manufacturer and supplier of high-quality plastic woven packaging solutions in Malaysia. The company’s core activities encompass the manufacturing and trading of a comprehensive range of industrial packaging products, including plastic laminated bags, paper laminated bags, bopp laminated bags, circular bags, bulk bags, pasted valve bag, slit rolls and other customised woven packaging materials designed to meet the demanding requirements of various industries.
Headquartered in Melaka, Tauplene Industries operates three strategically located manufacturing facilities — one in Krubong and two in Masjid Tanah — supported by a dedicated sales office in Puchong, Selangor. Backed by a workforce of more than 250 employees, the company is committed to maintaining excellence in operational performance, product quality and customer service.
Tauplene Industries serves an established and diversified customer base, particularly within the petrochemical, fertiliser, oleochemical and animal feed sectors, and etc. In line with its long-term growth strategy and commitment to technological advancement, the company has invested in specialised manufacturing know-how from Austria to produce woven pasted valve bags locally. This strategic investment positions Tauplene Industries as the first manufacturer in Malaysia to offer this advanced packaging solution, serving both global multinational corporations and local manufacturing facilities.
The Group’s operations are further complemented by its trading entities, Tauplene Enterprise Sdn Bhd and Valpack Trading Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Tauplene Trading Sdn Bhd), which focus on the distribution of woven bags, woven fabrics and recycling materials. These entities enhance the Group’s ability to provide integrated packaging solutions and value-added services to its customers.
Beyond manufacturing and trading, the Group has also diversified into property development through its subsidiaries, Tauplene Development Sdn Bhd, Sepakat Mewah Sdn Bhd and Acara Prestasi Sdn Bhd. The company has successfully delivered a number of residential developments in Penang, including landed detached, semi-detached homes at Minden Heights and 3 high-rise mixed developments comprise of Shop Office, Service Apartment and Residential Unit such as The H2O@Jelutong, The Sun@Sungai Nibong and presently an ongoing 2-Block Affordable Home, TwinStar@Lintang Slim. In total, the group had built more than a thousand units of commercial shops & residential homes.
